What is a category in the consumable space feature?
When organizing your consumables, Genemod allows you to customize your rooms or spaces to what is reflected in your lab. A category in the consumable space is another layer of organization that allows you to sort what you have in a storage unit.
The storage unit types Genemod offers are benches, desks, and shelves. Within these storage units, you can add categories to further sort your consumable.
Example of using a consumable space category:
You have built out your room for where you are managing your consumables and have included all the storage units as reflected in your bench area. There are many benches shown in the room layout, but within your bench you still have many drawers, cabinets, overhead shelves, etc. Each category you build within a bench, you can label them as a drawer, a cabinet, an overhead shelf, etc.
