Creating a protocol template in the protocol library

Take advantage of the template repository from your protocol library

  1. Navigate to your active Projects and navigate to the Protocol Library page.

  2. Click on the New Protocol button in the card view to create a new protocol template.

  3. Fill out the Protocol title fields. add or apply any labels that will be useful and click ‘Create’.

  4. You will be taken to your new protocol’s page. From there, you can fill in a title and the contents of the protocol. You can press the back button, or navigate away from this page at any time and find your newly created protocol on the Projects > Protocol Library page, in the Protocol drafts table. If you wish to publish your new protocol template, proceed with the rest of this document.

  5. If you wish to publish the protocol, after finalizing the content for the first version of your protocol. Click on the ‘Publish this version’ button.

  6. On the confirmation dialog, click ‘Publish Protocol’.

  7. You will then be redirected to the Projects > Protocol Library page where you will see your newly published protocol listed.
