Protocols have two statuses: unpublished & published. Protocol drafts are the ones that you haven’t published yet. They are always listed at the bottom of the protocol library page.
Whenever you create a new protocol from the protocol library or try to bring the one from an existing experiment, the protocol always starts in draft. When you think the protocol is ready to use, simply click on ‘Publish this version’ at the top right to publish it.
